How It Started

What began as one NBA star's love for the hobby has grown into one of the most exciting new breaking operations in the trading-card industry.

Founded by New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns alongside Danny Vallario, Big Bodegas Breaks launched on Fanatics Live in July 2026. The name comes straight from the Knicks locker room, where teammate Josh Hart first dubbed Towns “The Big Bodega.” Today, the team operates out of Jersey City, NJ.

Big Bodegas Breaks was built on New York energy for a reason: just like the corner bodega on your block, it's a place where everyone's welcome and the regulars feel like family.

The company made its mark from day one, debuting with a record-breaking Fanatics Live stream that opened 50+ cases of sealed product and handed out over $20,000 in giveaways to viewers. Just weeks later, Big Bodegas Breaks hosted a three-day live event on Fanatics Live: nonstop pack giveaways, big card openings, and a special-guest appearance from “The Big Bodega” himself, all built around a 100-case break on Topps Chrome Update NBA release day.

Today, Big Bodegas Breaks streams daily on Fanatics Live, bringing high-energy entertainment, premium product, and unforgettable pulls to collectors everywhere. Our growth is powered by that home on Fanatics Live: personality-driven streams, a crew of breakers who never let the energy drop, and a relentless focus on community. The Bodega is building more than a breaking business; it's building a destination for every collector in the space.

Behind the Counter

The man behind the counter. Danny built the Bodega from the ground up with one goal: giving collectors a break experience they'll never forget. Known for hosting the biggest breaks in the industry, he makes sure the Bodega is always open.Bio and this week’s showsDanny@bodega.dannyHigh energy, all night. Newman knows how to keep an audience engaged. You might want to lower the volume for this one, but you'll never be bored at the Bodega.Bio and this week’s showsNewman@bodega.newmanThe calm in the storm. No matter how wild a break gets, Dino brings the same cool, steady energy: the zen of the Bodega.Bio and this week’s showsDino@bodega.dinoThe newest face at the Bodega, and cool as they come on stream. Don't let the laid-back vibe fool you: this guy pulls heaters like a 10-year vet, and when the big hits land (and they land often), he'll make sure the Bodega knows it.Bio and this week’s showsNays@bodega.naysCharismatic and entertaining from the second the stream starts, Junior always keeps chat going. Every big hit gets his signature “Maneesh on the beat, shabang,” and by the end of the night, chat is chanting it right along with him.Bio and this week’s showsJunior@bodega.jrRoth brings the deals and the charisma. Nonstop energy on every break, and when a big hit lands, his reaction might be even more exciting than the pull itself.Bio and this week’s showsRoth@bodega.rothschildThe undisputed champion of WWE breaking. BabyFace has held the title for a long time, and nobody's come close to taking it from him. Every break is the main event at the Bodega, and you can expect nothing less than big hits flying off the top rope.Bio and this week’s showsBabyFace@babyfacebreaks

Questions

All questions
  • What is a card break?

A sealed box or case of trading cards opened live on stream. Instead of buying the whole box, you buy one slot in it. Every card that comes out of your slot is yours, and it ships to you after the show.

  • How do I participate in a card break?

Slots go live before each show and are claimed on the platform we are streaming to. Once the show fills, we open on camera. Nothing is opened off stream.

  • Where do you live stream?

Every show runs on Fanatics Live, seven days a week. More platforms are coming, and they will show up under Find Us Every Day when they do.

  • What do you sell?

Four categories: Merch, Boxes, Cases and Singles. You can browse all of them on the shop page.

  • Do you buy cards?

Not yet, but soon. Leave your email on the Sell to Us page and you'll hear the day it opens.

  • How does consignment work?

We sell it for you rather than buying it outright, either on stream to our room or through our marketplace listings. Cards, sealed wax or a whole collection.

  • Are you hiring?

Yes. Open roles are on the Careers page.
